Celtics fall to Chicago, 94-80
The Celtics had the lead more than a few times in tonight's game. But a 17-2 4th quarter run by the Bulls put the Bulls ahead for good, with a 94-80 win. The loss marked the Celtics 51st loss, and they're officially eliminated from the playoffs. The Celtics played hard again, but late game execution once again dashed any hopes for a Celtics win.
Bayless and Bass both scored a team-high 18 points for Boston. Green played 40 minutes, and only had 9 points to show for it. Phil Pressey played one of his best games this season. He seemed to be in the right spots all night. Pressey finished with 9 points, 4 steals, 3 assists, and 2 rebounds in 19 minutes of work.
Bradley missed all five shots he took while on the floor in the first half of Monday's game. He left the game with soreness in his ankle. It doesn't sound serious, but the Celtics were not going to risk anything.
The Celtics will head off to Washington this Wednesday, and they'll have another chance to stop this current losing streak.
