Celtics Morning Joe: Are Rondo and Bradley the backcourt of the future?

Bradley is a restricted free agent this summer, and I don't know what Bradley's value is. I don't think he's worth mOre than 5-6 million a season. I think that's a number I can live with. I'm concerned with Bradley's injury history. It worries me going forward. Rondo can become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2015 unless the Celtics re-sign him to an extension. Plus Ainge could trade Rondo at any moment.

“I would love it,” Bradley said of remaining the four-time All-Star’s backcourt mate. “I would love to play for Boston, and I would love to play with Rondo, so I wouldn’t mind it at all. I’m pretty sure any guard in the NBA would love to play with Rondo.”

Rondo was spot on finding Bradley all night against Miami. He was huge for Bradley, who nailed 6 3's and looked unstoppable for 23 points.

Since then, injuries have cut short his time on the floor with Rondo.

And when Bradley was healthy enough to play, it was Rondo out because of injuries.

That's why these final games of the regular season are so important.

"We get a chance now to finish the last 13, 14 games off playing with each other and showing what we can do," Bradley said.

I think this backcourt could be the best on the defensive end. If Bradley continues to hit 3's, and if he's able to carry scoring loads. Then this partnership could work. I get a small feeling that Bradley could be playing his last games in Boston. I don't know if Bradley will be the long term fix with Rondo. But Bradley has shown that he has a lot of potential. The duo will have the final month, with 13 games on tap. Will see if Danny likes what he sees once the summer starts.
