Celtics Morning Joe: Jeff Green playing his best basketball this season

Despite the many inconsistencies from Jeff Green during his tenure in Boston. Green is currently playing consistently. The wins haven't come, but he's playing the way he should. Green is averaging 23 a game in his past five performances.

The month of February was Green's best month this season. He averaged 20 a game, but again the wins didn't follow. The Celtics were 4-6 in February, and that was actually a decent improvement from January where they set a franchise low 2-15 January. Green leads the Celtics with 14 shot attempts a game, and in his past five games he's at 19 attempts per contest.

Jeff Green is currently averaging his best season average of 17 points per game. He's also on pace to score past his best scoring total of 1290 points in one season. With 22 games to go, will see how Jeff Green finishes the season.
