Celtics Morning Joe: Tommy Heinsohn puts Lebron in his place

Celtics legend Tommy Heinsohn has played with some of the NBA's greats. He's been around the game since the 1950's, so you have to take stock into what he says, or at least respect his voice on the game.

At an event where the 1974 NBA champion Celtics were celebrated (along with Miller Lite's white can which debuted in the same year), Heinsohn responded to LeBron James' comments in which he stated that he belonged on the Mt. Rushmore of all-time NBA greats.

If you watched the video, Tommy doesn't put James there just yet on Mt.Rushmore of NBA greats. Speaking of James. I know most of you have seen this weird black mask used by James. Well, the NBA said get rid of that dominatrix mask James. Maybe James should text his buddy Adam Silver.

"It is our understanding LeBron used the black mask because a clear one he was comfortable with wasn't ready," NBA spokesman Tim Frank said.

James appealed the decision and is still trying to get clearance to wear the black mask because he likes the lightness and fit of it, a source said. He also said he liked the style and how it matched the Heat's black throwback uniforms. It gave him no issues when he put up 31 points on 13-of-19 shooting in the Heat's 108-82 win against the Knicks.
