Durant leading MVP race down the home stretch, behind 51 point performance in double OT win over the Raptors

Durant hit a go-ahead 3 with 1.7 seconds left in the second overtime to give the Thunder a 119-118 win. Durant finished with 51 points in the double overtime thriller. Durant has scored 25 or more in 34 straight games, the league's longest streak since Michael Jordan did it in 40 consecutive games in 1986-87. If you want to make the case for who finishes with the best record. The Thunder are currently two games ahead of the Heat in the loss column. The Thunder have a full three game lead over Miami for the best record in the NBA.

Durant and the Thunder can't catch a break on the point guard front. Russell Westbrook injures his knee once again.

"I'm pain-free," Westbrook said, according to The Oklahoman. "I'm just going to ... get it looked at and go from there."

The Thunder should give some thought on resting Westbrook as much as possible. He did sit out against the Cavs Thursday night, but the Thunder will need to make a choice. Health or homecourt? I will take health 100% of the time.
