Gerald Green having a career year for the Suns

The Phoenix Suns are having a surprising season. The Suns (36-25) are right there in the playoff mix. They are currently the 7th seed in the tough Western Conference. The Suns pulled off a major win Thursday night, by coming from behind, and beating the top team in the West, the Oklahoma City Thunder. He scored 25 of his career-high 41 points in the third quarter and the Suns erased a 16-point deficit to beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 128-122.

Gerald Green is averaging 15.2 points a night, a career high, and over 6 points higher than his career average of 9.3 points per game. Green has played for 7 teams in 8 seasons. Green's longest run on one team was with Boston. I think he's found a home in Phoenix. But he sounds like a player focused on remaining in the NBA. I wish Green the best of luck.

"I haven't done nothing in this league," Green said. "Every day I come into practice or come into a game, I'm just trying to prove myself."
