Kris Humphries showing the Celtics why they should resign him this summer

Humphries and Rondo looked like an old school throwback duo in the first quarter against the Pistons. Could you say Stockton to Malone? If only that was the case. Rondo may be like Stockton, but Humphries isn't even close to being Malone. Humphries is still a very solid player. He's going to give you a solid effort every single game. Hump's 20 point, 11 rebound performance is what you'll get from Humphries. Not every game, but he's good for strong games like this during an 82 game season.

Humphries won't be an NBA All-Star anytime soon, and he's not the Celtics future big man. But he's still a good player to have for a team that wants to compete. Which the Celtics hope to do soon.

Kris over a week ago also had a solid game against the bigs of Indiana. Humphries had a 18 point, 10 rebound game in Boston's 102-97 loss last Saturday.

  1. Bring him back on a low deal, I'm good with that.
