Suns pull away from Celtics, 87-80

The Boston Celtics had a chance to win this game. The game was tied at 80-80 with under a minute to go. But Alex Len of the Suns scored two in the paint, allowing with being fouled. Alex Len would hit the free throw to give the Suns a 83-80 lead. The Celtics turned the ball over on the next play, and the Suns iced the game on the foul line. The Suns won this game 87-80, after losing to the Cavs the other night.

Kris Humphries and Chris Johnson had matching team-highs at 11 points as Boston shot just 30.9 percent overall (29 of 94). Friday was one of the worst shooting nights's I've seen in awhile.Rajon Rondo finished with eight points, eight rebounds, and five assists. While Avery Bradley chipped in nine points in his return. Jeff Green followed up his 27 point performance with a 2-of-14 shooting night for 9 points. The Celtics defense allowed them to remain in the game, or the Suns offense was just flat. You pick.

The Stats

-Boston 56 rebounds, Suns 51
-Boston 14 turnovers, 17 assists
-Suns 52 points in the paint, Boston 40
