Tom Thibodeau on Danny Ainge rebuilding the Celitcs "He’s not afraid"

Former Boston Celtics assistant coach Tom Thibodeau knows first hand how Ainge and the Celtics work. He's confident like so many that the Celtics will be back in the mix soon.

“I think the future’s bright,” the Chicago Bulls coach said Sunday before meeting the Celtics at the TD Garden. “You have great ownership, great management. Brad (Stevens is) a great coach. You have a guy like (Rajon) Rondo to build around, you’ve got some good young players.

“Danny (Ainge has) been through it a few times now. The one thing about Danny: He’s not afraid. He’ll do it through the draft, he’ll do it through trades.”

A lot of people believe in the Celtics. The Celtics have a lot going for them. Do I need to run down the list?

1) Rajon Rondo, best play maker in the game, and a pure winner.

2) First Round draft picks for days.

3) Cap Space in 2014 and 2015.

4) Young guys to build around or trade.

5) Paul Pierce's 10 million dollar trade exception. (Expires July 12th 2014)

That's the short list.
