Celtics Morning Joe: Where the Celtics are the third worst team in the NBA

The Celtics have tanked, and not be design. They've fought hard all season, battling trades, injuries, and half the season without Rondo. The Celtics are now tied with the Orlando Magic for the third worst record in the NBA following their loss in Atlanta. The Celtics have a legit chance at the top spot, and honestly. I hope Ainge uses his lottery pick in a trade to give Rondo another star to play with.

I could be wrong, but I just don't see one of these rookies coming in helping Rondo to lead the Celtics back to contention. I would be thrilled if Ainge is able to pull one of the top draft picks, and at the same time build the Celtics back up without trading a top 3 if the Celtics are lucky enough. I just feel like Danny will have to let go of his lottery pick for a big deal, similar to the Ray Allen deal in 2007.

And a look at the remaining schedules for Boston, Orlando, and Utah:

At this point, I just want this team to play well, and at the same time. I would like the Magic and Jazz to win, so the Celtics don't need to lose to keep their draft percentages.
