Hawks pull away in the 4th, beat Boston 105-97

Rajon Rondo nearly pulled off the role as spoiler. But the issue that has plagued the Celtics all season was a problem again. The Celtics had a nice 9 point lead in the 4th when they lead 89-80, but as the season script has been so predictable, Boston collapsed in the 4th. The Hawks beat Boston 105-97, and it was another loss for Boston, extending their losing streak to 9 games.

Rajon Rondo finished with 19 points, 12 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. A great game overall from where I sit. He's backcourt pal Avery Bradley scored a game-high 24 points on 8-of-16 shooting to pace the Celtics. Boston really showed some promise in this game, and they really failed to execute in the 4th, a problem that has been the story of the season.

Six Hawks scored in double figures, and team leader Paul Milsap paced the Hawks with 14 points and 14 rebounds. The Hawks keep the Knicks away with this win. The Celtics return home this Friday against Charlotte.
