Paul Pierce saves Brooklyn in game seven win, and a date with Miami

The Nets had controlled game seven for most of the game. With the Raptors down 1, and with a chance to steal game seven on their home floor. Kyle Lowry had a clear path to the basket, but "The Truth" set him free with a game saving block for the Nets. Paul Pierce has played a big part in Brooklyn's first round series win. In game one, Pierce was clutch with 9 4th quarter points, and he led the Nets to a game one road win.

Now Paul Pierce and the Nets will see a Miami team that they beat 4-0 in the regular season. I like the Nets chances, but do I see them winning this series? If they had Lopez I would say yes, they got this in the bag. But I don't know if I feel that confident in Brooklyn, despite them sweeping Miami in the season series. The backcourt play must be the key for the Nets. I think the Nets have the upper hand, and even up front perhaps. Nobody can contain James, but Pierce has during spurts in the past.

This is exactly what many predicted before the season started. A playoff series with these two teams with star power. It should be a fun series. This could be Paul and Kevin's last crack at LeBron and the Heat. Not to mention Ray Allen.
